Review content:
We've tried many of the local Sushi places, including most of the trendy downtown and midtown places. While none of the Sushi places in Sac compare to the better places in the City, my opinion is that Sushi Cafe has the best Sushi overall near downtown and midtown Sac. Don't let the lame name of the restaurant fool you - the sashimi and rolls always seem to taste fresh, well put together and tasty, and the atmosphere is relatively fun and lively. The service is definitely spotty, as I believe one of the other reviewers mentioned, but if it is primarily the food you are interested in, Sushi Cafe is a good bet in the downtown/midtown area IMHO.
