The Curtain Exchange is a large store on Huff Road amongst the West Side Design District. The minute I walked in the door I was greeted by a very polite sales consultant who gave me the ""low down"" on what they have to offer and their ""try them before you buy them"" curtain policy. This is a one stop curtain store and they have all the traditional decorative finials, hardware, wooden and wrought iron rods. I was also interested in ordering a set of Hunter Douglas blinds for my bathroom. They have custom bedding that you can match to your curtains. WOW...pretty cool! I was blown away by all of the custom ready-made curtains they had hanging on the walls...the full wall of custom samples from which to order. I love their samples because they are large so you can actually see the repeat patterns. OMG! There must have been several hundred or so....I told her that I was not ready to buy just yet and there was definitely no pressure. As a matter of fact, I made multiple trips to the store and checked out numerous curtain panels to hang in my house prior to buying. In addition, the experience was nice, economical and much better than the custom curtains that I have ordered from catalogs in the past. The really nice thing is that you get a chance to see them hanging in your house before spending your dollars. Pros: You can try the curtains out before you buy! Cons: My visits have always been positive ones!
