HONEST, HIGH QUALITY, DON'T TAKE ADVANTAGE OF WOMEN LIKE MOST AUTO SHOPS DO: I used this auto service when my tranmission completely went out. They are honest, extremely helpful and friendly, and go out of their way to keep you informed as to what is going on with your vehicle. This is one place where, as a lady, I feel comfortable going, knowing that my lack of car knowledge will NOT be taken advantage of, which is what has happened at most other auto shops I have been to. Don, the owner, took a good amount of time explaining every detail to me so that I would understand and make an educated decision on what option to choose. When I ran the info by my father and boyfriend, who are both car experts, they completely agreed that what he was saying was legitimate, and that the option he recommended was the best thing to do. ALSO, one thing they will do that most auto shops WON'T do: I needed a new (remanufactured) transmission. Don explained that, in the past, when they would simply replace the transmission with another factory remanufacture that went with that model car, like most auto shops do - due to intrinsic flaws with the transmission design of some particular car models,70% of the time, the customer's transition would, at some point, end up going out again, as it was a DESIGN flaw with that model car. These mechanics, before giving you a factory remanufactured transmission, will actually TEST everything on it for flaws. If they find one, they will MAKE a part if they have to to fix it, so that your transmission is less likely to go out again. There is a 3 year warranty, unlimited mileage, for this. There was a delay in my transmission they ordered coming in, which I was ok with, as I always factor in the chance that things happen upon anticipating when my car will be ready. Don called me being profusely apologetic, and said he would give me a free oil change for my trouble. He was so quick to let me know about the delay, whereas with most auto shops, you must constantly chase them down to get any info. Every worker at this shop is very friendly, and give off a vibe that they are good, honest people. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone, especially women who don't want to be taken advantage of.
