Businiess name:  Pedal or Not Electric Bicycle Tours of Santa Monica
Review by:  Jeff L.
Review content:
I was on a day trip to Santa Monica with a business associate of mine. We wanted to be lazy and adventurous all at the same time. We found the Pedal or Not shop by accident as it's located behind a grocery store (it's actually a neat little shop) and a half block from a busy street. I wasn't sure about the price at first but after ponying up we got the semi private tour. I'll be honest, I couldn't get the smile off of my face for at least the first 20 minutes on that bike. The cool factor of being on a bike you don't have to pedal is really hard to explain. I especially enjoyed accelerating from a stop while passerbys looked at us with bewildered looks on their face as their brains tried to process how a regular looking bike just took off without anyone pedaling! So, we opted for a slightly different tour than the standard tour, meaning we wanted to concentrate on going up and down the beach because there's plenty of eye candy and it didn't hurt that it was a beautiful day. After it was all said and done, I really didn't want to go back and turn the bike in. I could've done that all day. Oh, and the commentary from our tour guide was really informing too, it added a lot to the experience to know some of the culture and history behind what we were seeing.
