Thought about purchasing a camper at the camper show, told Brown's RV that we wanted to think it over. They had us do a credit application that they promised to hold until we decided, and would shred if we chose not to purchase. Talked to them on the phone a few days later and cancelled the purchase. Brown RV then submitted the credit application to several lenders, causing multiple entries on the credit report. When called on this, they lied and said I told them to run my credit report. My wife heard the phone conversation when I told them to cancel and shred the application.
