We recently purchased a puppy from an irresponsible breeder and upon having it examined by Dr. Alfred Brooks, he determined it had a a skin problem that was the fault of the breeder who should not be selling dogs in this condition. He suggested that they should bear the cost of treatment and provided me with a diagnostic letter as documentation, which the breeder accepted and refunded us the approximate amount to cover the veterinary care. I really appreciate the fact that Dr. Brooks went out of his way and made me aware that the breeder should be held responsible and that he helped me recover the cost of treatment. I would highly recommend Chesapeake Animal Hospital to any pet owners.
