I did a lot of internet research on Lasik and what it's all about. After wearing contacts since I was 14 and having a prescription of -4.75 (which amounts to not seeing how many finger I was holding up), I'd been dreaming about the procedure for years. I stumbled into Diagnostic Eye Center as it's walking distance from Greenway Plaza. I needed contacts and saw the optometrist there (who was really thorough and took time with me to listen). He mentioned I would be a good candidate for Lasik. I expressed interest. Dr. Sanders was in the office and came in the room to talk to me about it on the spot. One of the staffers gave me all the info. I went home and did some research, put extra money in my FSA, got through the holidays and came back to get tested.
