?Under Renovations 1, 2 and 3 Bedroom Apartments...New Appliances...Many Amenities... EXCITING CHANGES ARE TAKING PLACE! Granada Villas is currently undergoing major changes as we renovate the entire community-inside and out. We offer a controlled entry system in a resort-like community. Enjoy our basketball and game courts and two glistening pools and spas. Each renovated apartment has all new appliances. Please stop by today, we?ll be happy to show you around and answer your questions about Granada Villas.? LOAD OF !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Let me start of saying that I?m not trying to hate on the Granada Villas, I?m just tired of their cra p, as well as the ?good community?. The Rent is on average 1350 a month, at the time it was good and the amenities that they advertized seemed good, washer dryer facility, gym, pool, gated community, and security. The reality is that, the washers and dryers rarely work right, (when they work at all) the pool, is closed for a large majority of the summer which upon question, we kept receiving the ?it will be open soon? speech, two month later it did, and then the next day it looked like 100, drunk men had peed in the pool. The ?gate? seems not to work every other month for about a month at a time, and the security seems to be nowhere to be seen. The community itself is awash with crime, Dru g hand offs are common, and violence fighting and vandalism seem to occur on a weekly bases, including children who are unwatched by their parents and causing fights, littering all over the place, and just last week damn near burnt the whole complex down. Even just now, two good neighborhood girls got attacked by two other girls at the pool. The nail in the coffin for me is the TV, phone, and internet. You must go through their service provider, consolidated smart systems, and at last check they had no package deals, so you will pay upwards to 150 dollars to get all three. Long story short, the rent is overpriced, the amenities are poor (if they work at all) and the community is not family oriented. I and my wife are moving at the begging of August 2008, in the future maybe this place would be an ok place to live, but until then just be wary, this place gives you a whole lot more than you bargained for, and none of it good. Pros: low cost (sometimes) Cons: see details
