Just had a great experience at Spirits of Beauty. Had a brazilian bikini wax with Linda. She was great at waxing - in the 10 or so years I've been getting waxed I've seen a wide range of ability. Linda is way up there. She also is personally invested in doing a great job and insisted on tweezing and using a lancet (a teeny sterile needle) to get out my ingrowns. Although their clippers weren't working and she had to leave the room a couple times to grab extra materials, her manner was so friendly and professional and gracious that I totally didn't mind. The whole salon is really cozy (not small, but intimate), with its adobe interior architecture, and many rooms. I plan to go back there for a massage at some point. The front desk people were super friendly and genuinely interested in chatting, although the entire state of New Mexico is incredibly friendly. It's a great place to visit!
Pros: Expert Brazilian bikini wax from Linda, very friendly front desk.
Cons: Ambience was lovely, but could be enhanced with some relaxing music.
