Review content:
I have been going to the Woodshed for years since I live in the area. Those who say it is too expensive don't bother to understand what they are paying for. The fact is that most restaurants in the area charge more for an entree than the Woodshed does for the entree and all the fixings including salad bar. Recent changes in local ABC laws now allow them to sell beer and wine on premises so you don't have to brown bag any more. As for the quality of the meat, the Woodshed meat is USDA graded choice or higher. When a restaurant brags that they serve Angus beef, this says nothing about the quality of the beef. Admittedly the service can be less than you may expect sometimes but you can deal with that by not leaving a big tip. And if you really like the onion and tomato sandwiches, then why are you complaining about having to pay a couple of bucks for one. Did you like them because they were free or do you really like them? Prices are going up everywhere. Get over it. I read one review where the gentleman said his filet was ordered medium well and then grossly overcooked. Are you kidding? A medium well filet is already ruined anyway. I say give them a try and be fair about your comparisons. You will be pleased.
