Review content:
This is the story of an $83.77 part charge for a main relay on a '98 Honda Accord Coupe... that is what America's Choice Automotive (ACA) charged me on 4/2/11. Along with $89.95 diagnostic charge, the $71.96 labor charge, the $12.28 supplies (?!?) charge and after sales tax... the grand total for the main relay replacement was $265.88. Not a problem until I go by O'Reilly Auto Parts for something else and just out of curiosity ask them how much a main relay would cost... $14 and change! When I got home I gave the Honda dealership a call and find out they would charge me $74 and change. I take this information to ACA where I was told that they don't use after market electrical parts on Hondas and the ~$9 difference was their mark up. I asked if the got a discount on the retail price as a repair shop and he said they do... WHAT?!? Use this shop... your call... but I won't be back.
