Here is another bad review about SafeJourney ... We had really bad experience with trying to cancel our reservation. Our vacation fell through and we tried to get our money back from SafeJourney. According to the owner, they operate like a hotel in regards to reservation but they do not give you money back from a cancellation. I have not seen a hotel where you cannot cancel a reservation within a resonable amount of notice. We ended up paying money for a service that was not performed. Also when we picked up our dogs another time, there was nobody at the house. Only a note with a cell phone number. If they don't have enough staff to have coverage for 24 hours they should not be in business.
