Review content:
Years ago, this was a great place -- back around 2000 or so. Then we used CCC again in 2007 and 2008 and it had changed dramatically. The vets were all different and it was a like a completely different place. Before the vet had been very knowledgable and could give me at least an idea what was likely the problem right away But now they don't seem to know anything without lots of testing. Whenever I asked for an estimate of what all this testing would cost, it always cost much more when we were done -- since they hadn't added in the exam charges and this and that. There was even a time when they charged a $10 or $15 ""prescription charge"", but that went away after the customers complained so much. I felt terrible when my cat was old and very sick and they couldn't give me any idea of his prognosis without going through the whole testing thing. When I tried to ask probing questions to see if my cat even had a chance, they made me feel like I was trying to write my cat off. The vet showed no compassion at all. They previous vet (years ago) had been so compassionate. Now we have two wonderful kittens we got from a shelter, but I will not go back to CCC.
Pros: Used to be a great place.
Cons: Little compassion. High cost. Lots of testing!
