While MikeMan may be on a tear giving Cooper Lake a bad review anywhere he can write one, I had a completely different experience. I think perhaps he misunderstood their advice when it came to transmission issues, because I had a similar issue. I came to this shop a week or two ago for a strange noise. After looking at it, they told me that it was a noise from my transmission suggesting that there was internal damage. The staff there, and here's where MikeMan may have stopped listening, told me that they don't make repairs in transmissions, they only replace them. They gave me a price on what it would cost to replace the transmission, but then suggested that I go to a transmission specialist to see if it was something that could be repaired for less than it would cost to install a whole new transmission. Not only that, but they didn't charge me for checking it out even though they were obviously very busy. I work in business myself and know that time is money and the fact that they treated me so well is something I will remember. I'll definitely be back here for all of my repairs.
