I am relatively new to the LA area and had been getting my hair cut at Nick Roth in Manhattan Beach, who always does a great job. But, after looking around on here at reviews I thought I would try out the trendy cool Trim that got so many great reviews. I think you have all been fooled by this ultra cool fascade that they put up because I didnt see one person walking out of this place with a professional looking style. So, they say they give you a drink while you wait...i wasnt offered anything. my stylist was some guy smothered in tatoos and pirecings. i get my wash then head over to the cutting station. He managed to drop the comb he was using on me atleast 4 times and then continue to use it on my hair without even washing it off. then he whips this straight blade out of the drawer and while shaving my neck hairs tells me that it is his personal use blade as well. Didnt seem sanatary to me. After the cut he didnt style it up for me really so it was hard to tell how this cut was really going to look. I got home and started looking it over. The sides and back of my head have the longest hairs...I cant get my hair to style any way at all, which is why he probably didnt style it when i was there. So, in short, one of the worst hair cuts and experiences ive had at a hair salon. also, for a place charging $50 for a cut I would expect the stylist to have studied in Europe or throw some type of legitimate experience at me. someone that went to cosmotolagy school in san jose doesnt really justify the cost. Pros: $20 first time Cons: youll need to get it cut by someone else when you leave
