Review content:
After getting numerous quotes for my move from California to Anchorage, I contacted Alison's and received what seemed to be a decent price. Although I was initially impressed with their customer service, getting information in response to my questions in a timely manner was somewhat of a problem. After I had signed and submitted all my necessary paperwork, a week and one day before I was supposed to move, I received an email, not even a phone call, that they had quoted my an incorrect price and my move would actually cost a little over $700 more. I understand mistakes happen, but the rate used seems rather fundamental and their lack of responsiveness along the way probably delayed discovery of the mistake. After I complained, they offered to do the move for cost. One day later, truck drivers showed up at my place to deliver a trailer on behalf of Alison's. This was strange, as I had never planned on that date and had not actually confirmed that I was going with Alison's. I was not home, but the truck drivers called repeatedly and finally left the trailer out front. My initial confidence in this company was gone and I decided to get to Anchorage a different way.
