I was looking forward to working with Jay after reading so many of the positive reviews here. My mother's wedding set had been put away for some 30 years because she had worn the bands very thin, and they were in danger of breaking. Also, there was a loose diamond in the wedding band. She gave me the set some time ago, after my father died, but I've just had it in safekeeping. Since she died in 2009, however, I thought I'd get them out and have them repaired, as it is a beautiful set and should be seen.
Jay checked the set, looked over what needed to be done, and quoted a very fair price for the work. I think he originally told me it would take two weeks or so and it ended up being a little longer than that, but it was not a huge deal since I wasn't on any real timeline for a wedding or engagment plan or anything like that.
Jay and Adriane are very good to work with. I have two more rings that I need to redesign and have re-set, and I plan to work with them to revive those rings as well.
