Review content:
I am the business owner, Jay Yontef, and our client, A. Thompson, sent us the following review in an e-mail on July 16, 2010 to post on his behalf..................... I took an early 20th century diamond engagement ring to J. Yontef for repairs. It was a tricky project involving the reconstruction of a lattice-work bridge underneath the setting. Mr. Yontef examined the ring very carefully and provided a thorough explanation of the ring's style and construction. Our first meeting was highly informative and provided insights into a family heirloom. After our initial consultation, Mr. Yontef explained that he would be able to repair the ring instead of having to reconstruct the whole piece, thereby saving me considerable resources. A couple of short weeks later, the ring was back, better than ever. The attention to detail was extraordinary, and you would be hard-pressed to find many jewlers who would even attempt -- let alone succeed -- in the repairs. The finished ring is true to its origins and beautiful. I should add that Mr. Yontef went the extra mile in answering a follow-up question about the ring's vintage. I could not be more pleased with the final result, and with his commitment to perfection.
