Review content:
I have been going to a local salon, which I won't name names, for a couple of years now. I got caught in the same boring routine. I would go in and ask for something fresh and new, but all I would get is a choppy version of what I had. I met the owners of DAVAO from a previous salon I tried. When I heard they opened a new salon, I had to go check it out. I was welcomed by a wonderful young girl who immediately offered me a beverage of my choice. The layout and environment was soothing and inviting. The salon was designed and decorated in earthy tones making my escape from traffic and pompous, arrogant people easy. They brought me back to be ""shampooed"" and I only use quotes because I don't know what else to call it. It was more of a sensual deep scalp massage that made my eyes roll back. I didn't want it to stop. They woke me up and asked me to go sit at one of the stations. I was unsure of exactly what I wanted. I just knew I wanted something different. I talked with the stylist where I was explained how certain hair styles would fit and accentuate my particular facial features. She was well educated and current on the ""IN"" fashions. I was extremely impressed with this salon, their professional staff and my experiences there. I am usually not the kind of person that leaves reviews but I believe DAVAO deserved it. If you are in getting your hair done, ask them if Harry Oliver is there cause I will be back. Pros: Young and educated staff. Relaxing Cons: They're all married
