Amelishan is a terriblely overpriced store with rude and unhelpful staff. I was part of a bridal party for a friend of mine and was thinking about buying my dress through Amelishan. I called them up for ideas on sizes, gave them my measurements and they told me I was somewhere between a 0 and a 10, uh...thanks?? On top of that they put me on hold several times for what should have been a quick phone call. I went online and found a size guide that was much more helpful. After finding my size, I called back and gave them my credit card number for the deposit, even though the order wouldn't be placed for another month to wait for the other bridesmaids. I called back the next day to cancel my order (since the dress was much cheaper at a local dress shop that gave me better service and I live on the West coast). The person on the phone told me they'd cancel it but the deposit wasn't refunded a week later. When I called back they gave me to a manager that said it was against their policy to return deposits. Long story short, I got the money back from my credit card company, but it took nearly two months of letters and phone calls to Amelishan (who were very rude, especially Shannon, and said I should have known that was their policy- though they had not ordered anything for me and never did). In the end, I got the dress for half the price they were charging and was much happier supporting this other business. If I could I'd give them 0 stars.
