So far I am not too pleased with PDI. Their website claims ""unlimited drive time"" (with an asterisk of course), which I guess means that ""unlimited"" is actually limited (?) While on the range practicing maneuvers, especially backing maneuvers, me and other students feel that we need to be able to practice it over and over in order to get it right. However, we get to practice two, and maybe three times, if we are lucky, then come back to it a week later. PDI crams too much into a short period of time and you barely have time to digest everything. They seem to say that the goal is ""the job,"" but everything they do seems like just another CDL mill. $5500 for a little over a month (about 5 weeks) is a lot for so little time. I now feel that I should have gone to NTTS (National Tractor Trailer School). Sure NTTS cost a couple thousand more dollars, but you get A LOT more time, and it is SEVERAL weeks longer than PDI's program; plus NTTS has a driving simulator. It seems PDI just wants to push as many students through as it can in a short amount of time so that they can just make as much money as possible. Sure, it's a business, but any school should set their students up to succeed. This doesn't seem to be the case with PDI. Very disappointed. Advice: STAY AWAY FROM PDI and go with NTTS!
