Review content:
I read all the reviews here before chancing it at Atomic- but I figured I would check it out anyway. I walked into the Burnet location, and yes I admit I looked a little like a deer in headlights- I had never been in a tattoo shop before, and there was all kinds of flash to look at, so it was a little overwhelming. But regardless, instead of being helpful- the guy at the front took it as a chance to jump all over me and be a total jerk. While I was talking about what I wanted, the woman sitting behind the counter was rolling her eyes, because apparently I'm not quite badass enough for them. Then I watched as a tattoo artist talked to another customer like they were a total idiot. At that point, I knew i wouldn't be choosing them. So, sorry to say that those negative reviews probably AREN'T made up. Really- don't waste your time here...there are MUCH better tattoo shops in Austin (I ended up going to Southside, and it was a totally different experience...in a good way!) Pros: Lots of flash to choose from Cons: Rude, lack of customer service skills, crappy atmosphere
