I brought my vehicle in today to the Brake Specialists at 1303 South Lamar, because I was sure I needed brakes. They got me right in and looked over my vehicle. They told me I didn't need brakes right now and that I had over 50% pad life left all the way around the vehicle. Another shop had told me that I needed brakes based solely on me telling them that I had brake noise issues. The manager at Brake Specialists took me out to the vehicle and showed me the condition of my brakes and showed me what a new pad looks like on my vehicle for reference. He did point out that the last shop that worked on my brakes installed Duralast pads from Autozone and that was the reason I heard the brake noise. They recommended a couple of pad options to look into when I get my next brake service. The manager and staff were very helpful and I appreciated their honesty. I will be back most definitely.
