Review content:
For years I've heard nothing but good things about this restaurant, so I finally drove about an hour to try it. While waiting at the bar, I ordered the Pineapple Upside Down Martini which was wonderful. Once seated, I ordered the Petite Filet & my husband ordered the NY Strip. The salad bar was good, but nothing to brag about. It was just a salad bar! Once our dinner was served I noticed my filet was cut into almost three pieces (almost like medallions, but still connected on one side.) I asked our waitress if that was how they served filets since this was our first visit & she said that it was a "mushroom cut" and that it probably came off the end of the loin. I sent it back & ate my crinkle cut fries while they cooked another steak. My husband's NY strip was okay. He felt it was overpriced for the quality. Once I got my steak I couldn't help but agree with him. I wanted so much for this restaurant to "wow " me since I'd heard so many good things, but I really felt like I had just eaten at Outback and paid Ruth's Chris prices! Our waitress was very nice & accommodating and we did receive good service throughout the evening. At least we can say we tried it, but we probably won't go back unless someone else suggests it.
