Review content:
HI, So I love massage, I get them when ever I can afford them and even when I can,t. I am 40 years old and workout regularly: take spin 3 times a week, lift 3 times a week, attend yoga classes and white water raft. Needless to say my body hurts at the end of the day and massages are just the thing to help my body recover from the stress I put it through. Tye at Sankofa Massage and Bodywork is just the woman for the job. She has an intuitive sense where those real tender muscles are and knows how to soothe them and guide them into deep relaxation. She also knows when to back off when those muscles are particularly tight and sensitive. I appreciate that Tye is communicative and checks in with me regarding the pressure she is applying, which can range from very deep to gentle. I can't say enough good things about Tye's skills as a massage therapist and she has gotten better with each massage I have received. The only reason I did not give her a 5 star rating was because her space is located within another office, so the massage space is louder then I would like. I will say that once the massage starts I rarely notice the noise because I am so relaxed. So book that massage with Tye at Sankofa Massage and Bodywork, your body will be thankful.
Pros: Tye's hands
Cons: Massage space
