My family and I went for dinner at this resturaunt. I ordered the California Salad. When I got it there was hardly any chicken or other stuff on it. I asked the waiteress very nicely if I could change my order as I was dissapointed that there was hardly anything on the salad. She rudly told us to "hang on". The manager came by and rudly asked what the problem was. I again explained in a nice manner that for the money the salad was not worth the $15.00. He became very hostile with me and told me that "the salad was priced at fair market value" I explained that I would pay for the salad if it was worth the $15.00. He again insulted me by stating "you are in LA, this is what you get". I was apolled that he would talk to toursits this way. However, I live in LA so I am grateful that someone visiting did not have to go through this. I assertively told him that I would like the chicken burger instead of the salad. He said no. My husband was extremely upset and told him that we were leaving. He said that if we leave he would call the police. We stayed and waited. In the meantime, he would not comp our meals until 30 minutes later when WE called the police stating that the manager was holding us against our will. My mom spent 15 minutes explaining that he was in the wrong and that this is poor customer service. The manager did not care. He kept saying that I was being rude when I asked to change my order. Pros: none Cons: manager was rude! Threatened to call the police on me!
