Review content:
This company charged my elderly mother for a "free" estimate. She needed a water heater replaced and a tech came out and looked at it for a couple of minutes then wrote up an estimate. Their yellow pages ad says "free estimates on installations" -- what they don't say is that if you can't afford their price quote they will charge you for a $72 service call! My mom is on a very limited fixed income and she could not afford their estimate. EDIT : This company has offered a $72 refund, since the customer service rep did not explain on the phone that there would a service call charge if my mom could not afford the estimate. So at least this company is responsive to customer complaints, and I'm sure they do fine work -- I just think their phone ads are misleading with regards to the "free estimates" claim.
