I'm done with these folks. They just rebuilt the carburetor on my lawn tractor for the the second time due to "bad gas". After the first rebuild several years ago, they explained that I needed to stabilize my gas over the winter. No problem, that was good advice and I've done that every year since. This time around, stabilizing my gas over the winter apparently wasn't good enough. When my tractor wouldn't start before my second mowing this year, after they maintenanced it this winter for a cost of $300+, they agreed to pick it up and bring it back to their shop to take a look. A week later they called and said I owed them another $200+ as they had to rebuild the carburetor, etc, due to "bad gas". They never called of course to discuss the charges before they did the repair, they just charged ahead, called me about the bill and said there was nothing they could do. I told them several times that I wasn't happy but all I got were the "bad gas" explanations and that "stabilizing might only buy you a month or two". If that is true, then no one should ever stabilize gas over the winter and they should always run leftover gas through their car in the fall. Personally, I think they have found a great way to justify expensive mower repairs at their customer's expense. I'm going elsewhere, I just don't trust these guys any more. Pros: null Cons: null
