Review content:
Dr. Hedlin is a decent veterinarian, but the rest of the staff at Aspenwood Animal hospital, although caring, is less than competent. I took my new puppy there for the first few months I had her and I was told contradicting things numerous times. I was given an "all inclusive" price for her spay, but when it came time to pay, they changed it and said that the pre-op work up was extra raising the price almost $100! I was also told that my pet was doing fine when she was there for surgery, but when I picked her up the next day I was told that she barked the whole time she was in the kennel (she is NOT a barker) and she was in so much pain! Those are just two examples of the contradicting information I was given. I will not take my dog back to Aspenwood because of the supporting staff; Dr. Hedlin should find a better office. Pros: dr. is decent, staff does seem to care about animals Cons: incompetent staff, expensive, no inter-office communication
