Review content:
On Wednesday morning July 20, 2011, a day that the outside temperature reached 97 degrees farenhiet, Mr. Dax Thomas, a plumber with the Roto-Rooter company of Ft. Wayne, IN., came to our house to repair a leak in a hot water line located beneath the concrete slab floor of a downstairs bath and utility room. When Mr. Thomas arrived he was neatly dressed in a dark blue uniform. With a smile on his face,he extended his hand in greeting, gave an overview of what he would be doing and assured us that our problem was not hopeless. With the competence of one who is well experienced in his field he set about doing the task at hand. In my mind's eye, I could envision all kinds of things happening in that room is as much as a Jack Hammer would be used to break-up concrete. In a relatively short period of time, Mr. Thomas removed the concrete, repaired the leaking copper tubing carrying the hot water, tested the system, refilled the created hole and was on his way in record time. He was very thorough in what he did. I must say however, that his uniform was no longer spic and span but wringing wet from perspiration and a couple of shades darker. The warm smile was still on his face and his parting handshake, still reflected competency and expertise. My thoughts, "this is a man who knows and loves his work, and is proud to work for Roto-Rooter." Would I recommend to anyone who needs a plumber Mr. Dax Thomas? You bet I will, in a a "heart-beat."
