I got a flat on the 51st Street bridge on Harborside -- remembering this place was on Broadway, I headed there. When I realized my tire had a hazard warranty from somewhere else, I pulled into the convenience store next door to call for a tow. Steve (I think) saw my flat and waved me over. When I told him that I thought I had tire coverage from elsewhere, he confirmed that business carried that tire and said they'd air it so I could drive there. When they realized it couldn't be aired because it had a fist-sized hole, they changed it to my spare for me. Very grateful, I tried to pay them for their help, but they refused. I'll definitely remember them when I need more tires, and recommend them to everyone I know.
