Review content:
I called about having an estimate done on my truck for a oil leak. I was told that there would be a $75 charge just to look at the vehicle. When I asked if this $75 would be applied toward the cost of the work if I had the work done at Ed's. I was told NO. Well Ed might be the best place in town, but I went somewhere else just as reputableand was given this Shop Owner's name before Ed's. I called and was explained how the fee for the estimate worked. If I got the work done at this shop, the $25 was credited to the final bill. If I chose to go to another shop, wel then the $25 was reasonable for the time spent. Ed, your $75 fee is UNREASONABLE. Maybe it's time you changed your policy and give the customer a break! Bad news / reviews travels faster than good.
