I went in for an interview for massage therapist program in 2010 and the college was extremely expensive. Besides taking out sudent loans they wanted me to take out additional loans from them and make payments to them also which was unheard of so I declined attending the school and they stalked me through phone calls and mail. In October 2011 I wanted to do the medical assistant program and I also wanted to see if their prices were competitive from the other schools seeing their not brand new anymore and I brought in my costs sheets from the other schools to compare and boy did Erin CLICK on me. She walked in after I was interviewing with another lady which that interviewer was talking to me as if she were reading straight from a script. Erin walked in and pulled a chair close to me and leaned into my face and said "Yeah I know you didn't think you could come in here and not have to see me again". She "Erin" was my interviewer last year, she then goes in to saying if the other schools are better why are you here why don't you just go over there I told Ms. Thang just like you interviewing me I'm interviewing you and if this school is not for me then on to the neext one just as you would do if you were interviewing for a job, now what!!! I'm a 38 yr old woman and this little girl is in my face acting like she's the "Godfather" and calling herself checking me. After telling her she's in the NO Fly Zone which is my personal space and she'd better move her ass. I told her I didn't like her attitude or her for that matter and I could not see myself being in that environment. I'm starting at Eastern College in the medical assistant program and they allow you to do work study for 5 hours a week to pay off a loan if you want to and......you don't have to pay extra for the x-ray class just $99 dollars for the license unlike other schools that will charge $6000 more but make you think they're the only one that has medical assistant/ x-ray in Arkansas. My 10 yr old twins has a No Bullying Policy at their school...maybe Heritage should be like LRSD & implement some policies for them. Erin liked to found herself in a Tyler Perry storyline 1-800- Choke-That- #@.
