So I called the dealership to order a part for my car and instead the conversation turned into an argument with the most disgruntled service dude in perhaps the history of Ford Stealerships. I find it highly unusual that a service guy would be so willing to dismiss a customer's questions and become highly argumentative over being asked to do his job. Perhaps this is the norm there but I have never been spoken to like that by anybody. Nothing I could have said would have ever merited his response. All i wanted to know was a price, to find out if my part was still on back order, and an estimated repair time for my car. Instead I got an earful about how i'm wasting his time by not bringing my vehicle into them to diagnose @ $95 (and a two hour round trip for me to not even get my car fixed because all I needed to know is if the part was still on back order) because he quote " wouldn't waste the time of his parts department to look up an item that he doesn't know that I need." Well I'm fairly certain that i need a seat since i spent 3,000 miles sitting on the floor and I have paperwork from another ford dealer (whom couldn't get the part before I had to return from my vacation) stating the issue. The conversation ended with him screaming like a little girl and me taking my business elsewhere. On a side note the last time i had my vehicle serviced there they tried to get me to buy a new battery even though mine was almost new and tested out to be in perfect condition, and they also told me i needed my rotors machined instead of actually fixing a brake pad clip that was falling off. Good luck with these guys.
