Review content:
I recently finished the Certified Nursing School training program at Alliance Care. I think if you are just looking to get the CNA certification and the Duluth location is most convenient to you, it is just ok. Keep in mind though that for 4 days you will have to do clinical training at a nursing home in Decatur that is nowhere near the school. Look up Grace Healthcare before you pay money to go to this school. Four days may not seem like much to you now, but trust me, it was tough to get through because it was so awful. The nursing home is a terrible place (dirty and depressing) and no place for the young students attending this school. It is in a really bad area and it is a very poor example of a nursing home. I literally threw away my scrubs and shoes when I finished. It was disgusting. Mostly what I learned there is that I never want to end up in a nursing home. It is a very poor quality home (one star) and did not seem safe. Alliance Care is just ok. The instructors were pretty good and professional. But the office staff is very unprofessional. They kept interrupting class to collect money from the students, flirting with the students, etc... And the manager or director is pretty much non existent until there is a problem and then she was just rude. Pros: null Cons: null
