Review content:
The food and wine was excellent, some of it even exquisite; we had a chef sampler (several courses of the chef's choosing) with a wine sampler (each course came with a glass of wine to match it). It wasn't cheap, but if you want gourmet food it's not going to be cheap. The A/C was a little high (it was summer) and it looked like you had to have a reservation to get into the main dining room. (It's an old church and we were sitting where the side pews would be--not necessarily bad since it was more private and quieter). We would absolutely go back. The only downside was that the waiter was actually too attentive, a bit too talkative and too close by to give us descriptions and explanations, but maybe that was partly because of the menu we chose.
Pros: excellent food, attentive waiter, knowledgable waiter
Cons: , cold inside, waiter too attentive?
