Review content:
ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE ! I've lived in NYC many years and have had my share of bad customer service ...but you would think with all the hype about this apple store...you'd expect more. My first attempt at service was via telephone ...what a nightmare ! They transfer you to the wrong place...the wrong people and then you get attitude. What a waste of my time...try it yourself ...you will be amazed at the incompetence. Then I went in and got rude robot-like responses from the "geniuses" there. They had no common sense, let alone, technical knowledge It's a very sterile impersonal atmosphere . Very off-putting and frustrating. I waited around while "service people" stood around waiting for other scheduled clients that never showed. I swear there were four people doing nothing while I waited a half hour. And the management couldn't care any less. I gave up and went to a store called Tekserve on 23rd street. They were quick, courteous and personable. I got exactly what I needed really fast. I highly recommend you steer clear of these over-hyped stores like Apple that really don't care about your business. Pros: none Cons: everything
