Review content:
If you are ever presented with an emergency be sure you have an appointment before you decide to show up.My 9 week puppy fell off the bed and broke her hind leg.I arrived with her yelping, and we had to wait an agonizing 50 minutes while other pets with "appointments" were let right in even though their case was not even close to an emergency. The doctor then came in and examined the puppy;xrays were then taken to determine whether she had a sprain or a fracture. Before treatment on the puppy we were given an estimate. The estimate was $370.00 including $40.00 to interpret an xray;3 sets of shots each being no less than $30.00 for pain management, and $95.00 emergency fee.Fearing for my dogs condition I signed for treatment and consent for anesthesia.I was told later that the shots they gave her were similar to morphine, and the dog was brought to me very sedated. They told me she needed to be gassed to put a splint on since she was too feisty with the staff.Mind you right before they took her away from me the 2nd time she had already been given that shot that was like morphine. The splint they placed on my puppy was not only too big but covered her backside which did not allow her to poopy.I had to take her the following day again since she spent all day crying. They wanted to charge me a 2nd time to re-bandaged her and place a smaller splint due to their mistake. We asked them to ask the main doctor to waive the fee and he responded "lets make a hole in the splint in order to be cost efficient."It did not work to their favor and the puppy had to be re-gassed to fix the splint.I then took her to an Orthopedic Surgeon and his belief was the bone shifted due to Knowles Animal Clinics negligence.I then had to pay for my dog to be operated roughly $810.00.My pet now is great due to the surgeons incredible care.I dont recommend Snapper Creek Knowles Animal Clinic.
Pros: Parking
Cons: Terrible Customer Service, and Negligence towards animals
