Review content:
I am a retired competitive gymnast who has worked in health care as a Recreational Therapist for 10 years. I first remember having low back pain 19 years ago while in gymnastics. I was able to relieve the pain with exercises and stretches my coach gave me. Six years later I was hit from behind in a car accident. My back pain worsened and I began seeing a chiropractor (not Dr. Meylor). He was able to take away the immediate pain, however the pain always returned. I have had two work related strains on my back and one more car accident since then. There were times I couldn't hold a carton of eggs because of the pain, which was then in my mid-back and neck too. I was very concerned how I would be able to care for a new born baby my husband and I were adopting. A month before the baby was due I got a referral from a friend of mine who asked a Neurologist she knew for a good chiropractor referal. I was told Dr. Meylor was the one to see, and although the office was 35 minutes away from my house I knew I needed a good chiropractor and I was willing to make the drive to see someone who had a good reputation for delivering results. I was very impressed with all of the treatment modalities used from muscle stimulation and a traction bed with roller bars to the acupuncture and variety of adjustments. I started off with treatments 3 times per week and now am down to 1 time every 1-2 weeks. I am elated to say that I am able to carry my precious son pain free! If I do get a little pinch here or there it goes right away instead of lingering around for weeks like it used to! I was busy with new mom duties while receiving chiropractic care from Dr. Meylor, so I didn't get to the gym like I had before being treated by him. In the past working out to keep my back strong was the only way to keep the pain at bay, so the fact that I wasn't working out at all and Dr. Meylor was able to make the pain go away proves it is truly 100% Dr. Meylor's doing! The staff, especially Wendy is great! Wendy even held and fed my son for me one visit when I needed an extra hand! Thank you to all of the staff! I highly recommend Dr. Meylor and his team!
