My 1st attempt to be seen with this practice I filled out paperwork and when I turned it in the girl at the front desk said that she had to be re-scheudle me b/c the doc was out on call with a delivery. Ok I was kinda upset but I have a baby and I understand that duty calls. So went ahead and re-scheduled and she promised to put me on a day that he was NOT on call. So I get there for my 2nd appointment and after an HOUR (40 minutes in waiting room, 20 in room) to see the doc he is in the room for 2 minutes and a nurse knocks on the door, he steps out for a moment and comes right back in and says ?I?m sorry but we have to re-schedule there is a lady pushing and I have to go deliver a baby? ? I just thought to myself, seriously this just happened last month too? Nurse walks in ?So we can?t reschedule today with someone else b/c it will make them be behind with their patients so it will have to be another day and we may want to put you on with ?someone less popular? etc etc etc. I said ?Well then I guess I need to just find a new pratice b/c this is a bit ridiculous! Ridiculous that they cannot make an exception after having to re-schedule me for the 2nd time! So after all this I get fit in with a new practice on the date, time and with ?the popular doctor? (although after reading all the reviews I think the whole practice is filled with popular doctors, I mean that is a practice I want to be a part of). She came highly recommended from friends and her reviews I read online. So guess what, I have a cyst/growth that I need an untrasound on to I am sure make sure it is not a tumor of some sort. So I am extremely upset that I could have had this diagnosed 2 months ago ?IF? northpoint ob/gyn would have kept their original appointment with me, or even a few weeks ago if they kept my 2nd appointment. But since I was not in labor I wasn?t important enough for them to do my yearly check up! I do not whatso ever recommend them, the whole practice is un-organized and in my opinion un-ethical. Un-ethical in the fact that they didn?t treat me with any importance at all to even fit me in with someone else after the 2nd mis-hap onm their end. And while I was getting my records a woman at the front was complaining about being re-scheduled stating that she has been coming there for a while and it is just getting worse and worse, each time she has waited longer and longer and she complained about the re-scheduling and such. So with that being said and getting the news about the growth I know I made the right decision to leave. I couldn?t imagine if I just got re-scheduled again another month out and then had to be re-scheduled AGAIN! It is very hard to find good doctors out there but it?s a buisness like any other and there are so many choices out there so choose wisely and if you get the slightest feeling that you are not being taken care of properly there are too many choices out there for you to stick with the practice/doctor that makes you feel that way.
