They will not give a ballpark price over the phone. I finally got one from Mike at Raynor and he told me why. Companies like Overhead Door refuse to ballpark an estimate on the phone because they just want to get their high-pressure sales guy to your home. Mike at Raynor, (913) 422-0441 ext 200, said it's because "If the salesman sees a Jaguar in your garage, the price goes up." I 100% believe him after how completely shady the lady from Overhead Door was. I honestly didn't know how much garage doors are. Do they start at $500 or $5,000? That's all I wanted to know. I said to the rude lady on the phone that I didn't want to waste their salesman's time if doors start at $10,000 because I don't have that kind of money right now. She said "If you think it's a waste of a salesman's time, then maybe you don't really need a garage door." Yes - that's what she' said, verbatim. I will never, ever use Overhead Door Company. I will use Raynor because Mike was up-front with me about the base price I could expect. I'll happily add options because the price is so much lower than I thought. Pros: null Cons: null
