This has really taken me by suprise, because Howie has filled the same medication for me in the past. First off I spoke with evening pharmacist OLGA I believe is what she introduced herself as, I asked if they had the medication in stock and she said yes, I told her i didn't get off until after 11 so it would be late when I got there, "OH NO PROBLEM" So I drove 40N of where I live only to have GOOD TIME HOWIE, TO SAY NO COME BACK AT 4A.M. This is a schedule II narcotic that I have taken for many years for a terminal/chronic disease that I have. Mind you these were filled exactley 7 days ago, and my doc writes my scripts out weekly. Because as a nurse first off and a pt second off I know a schedule 2 can not have a refill put on them. I told him there was a note in the system that Mary put in from talking to my doc last sunday he read it and said ok. He said it would be 20-30 minutes and it would be ready. he said he could fill my catapress, but I would have to come back, mind you 40 miles there and 40 miles back, and the same thing again at 4 a.m. HE TRIED TO TELL ME THAT WITH THE DATE ON IT, HE COULDN'T FILL TIL HIS SYSTEM HAD SWITCHED OVER TIL THE NEXT DAY. THIS WAS A BOLD FACE LIE, I HAVE SPENT THE LAST HOUR CALLING WALGREENS IN DIFFERENT AREAS AND ASKING IF IT'S NORMAL FOR A PHARMACIST TO TELL YOU TO COME BACK AFTER THERE COMPUTER SWITCHES OVER. THEY ALL REPLIED WITH A NO. SO THIS HAS ME UPSET AS WELL. MY FAMILY DOC AND MY SPECIALIST HAS GIVEN ME PERMISSION TO GET THESE AT MIDNIGHT BECAUSE OF MY WORK SCHEDULE, WHEN I'M ABLE TO WORK. Why is it that some pharmacist will fill these at night and some won't especially a drug that is SO VERY DIFFICULT TO FIND AND THERE IS A SHORTAGE ON THIS PARTICULAR MED NATIONWIDE, AND HAS BEEN FOR A WHILE NOW. I AM GOING BACK TO MY OLD PHARMACY WHERE I can honestly say in my heart that never gives me the first problem, and before going to them I had all my meds which were about 21 different scripts only one being a narcotic at Wal-greens. To whom ever reads this, I pray to MY GOD ABOVE, THAT THESE FOLKS NEVER GET SICK, OR HAVE TO EVEN FEEL THE WAY MY BODY FEELS ON A DAILY BASIS. I HAVE ALL INTENT ON TALKING THIS TO THE TOP AND IF THEN i STILL AM NOT HAPPY WITH ANY RESULTS, I WILL CALL THE LOCAL TELEVISION STATION TO SEE WHAT THEY CAN DO TO HELP ME. Pros: only pros was they had a medicine that's tough to find Cons: Howie the night pharmacist, VERY RUDE
