My Dog was sick for 2 months and went to 3 other vets in Dutchess County before I brought him in to see Dr.Mintzer. Our postman recommended Mid Hudson Hospital to us. I faxed the other vet's lab tests to the office for Dr. Mintzer to review. When I got there the receptionists already seemed to know all about Bosco's illness and were very sympathetic about the loose poop I had been cleaning for the past 2 months. The technician quickly brought us into the exam room where she got Bosco ready for an exam. Dr. Mintzer came in and questioned me thouroughly about Bosco's life, how much he was insisde, how much outside, what kind of food he ate, whether he ate junk from the yard and lots of other questions. He already knew all about Bosco from the other vets reports. Then he gave Bosco one of the most thourough exams I've seen a vet give. He did a blood count and found a type of blood cell that he said might indicate parasites. He then told me to bring in a poop sample every day for the
