We are very pleased with the look of our home. The appearance of the roof added to the look and curb appeal of our home. Our home has large oak trees in the back yard which deposit a lot of debris on the roof through out the growing season; leaves, sticks, tassels, acorns etc. The metal roof sheds every thing, we have very little cleaning maintenance. The metal roof definitely makes a difference in the cooling bill. In fact during the summer of 2009 which was unusually cool (high temperatures only in the 70's) when we returned home from work we had to open the windows to get some heat into the house as it was so cool inside it was uncomfortable. I believe we only ran the air conditioning when outside temperatures reached 85 or 90 degrees depending on the humidity level.
