My son bought a Grand Am there last December. He still owes $6000 on the car, has put about $1500 in it and it only starts sometimes. My mechanic who has 40 yrs experience does not know how to fix it. It has something to do with anti theft device. We would be grateful for someone to steal it, if they could start it. He has a job and a baby and this being stranded constantly may lose him both. He has no more money to put into it. He couldn't afford the warranty. I don't know what to do as the car is in my name because of his credit problems. I guess if I can get it started I will try to foist it off at a loss, which I can ill afford as I am retired.
