Bad service. I have been a patient of this practice for 2 years. I am a medical doctor, and I think I have very long patience dealing with clinic stuff. I do not recommend Dr. Henegar's practice at all. During my first 2 visits, I had to wait 1.5 hours to get serviced. On my third visit (this year, august 2012) I was late 10 minutes and they did not give me the oral prophylaxis I was supposed to have needed. I have been patient with their clinic for the past few years but the last one was the most disappointing. The hygienist took a look at my teeth, measured the gum spaces which made some of my gums bleed. I was told some areas are in dire need of cleaning, but they cannot clean it today because I was 10 minutes late (yeah, when I waited 1.5 hours before I did not raise hell) She called the dentist who pretty much stayed for 5 minutes or less, she just said the same thing. I asked the dental hygienist why they would defer my cleaning when she saw gum pockets that needed to be cleaned and treated with antibiotics. she said it was because I was late. I am a doctor (MD) and that didn't bode well on me. You do everything that can be done with patient while she is at the clinic, because you don't know when they are coming back if they're still coming back. Dental prophylaxis is not an extraordinary thing to do but it can help a lot with the patient's oral well being. I think they overbook their patients and just want to get rid of me. So anyway, she picked my gums bleeding and all and they did not even suction out the blood or even make me swish and gargle before going out. It left a really bad taste in my mouth, literally and figuratively.
