Review content:
My wife had her wisdom teeth extracted this past week. The nursing staff was extremely curteous and took their time with us and the front desk staff was very nice as well. However, Dr. Barsamian is a bull in a china shop. His bed-side manner lacks, to say the least. During the procedure prep, he was rude with his nurses, rough handled my wife's IV insertion in her hand and messed it up (she bruised for 5 days), and when she complained about the pain he belittled her complaints and insisted to just switch to the other hand. I had to step in to make him perform the insertion in her arm since it was clear his impatience was not sufficient to handle a delicate insertion into her petite hand. Not exactly a comfortable atmosphere.
I wish I could say his skill made up for this lack of manner, but I can't even say that. My wife is still in pain from the procedure a week later, even after we followed the post-op instructions to the letter. And to add insult to injury, during our follow-up we explained this pain to him hoping to aleviate worries of infection or perhaps even a nerve that got cut, but all he did was rudely state that we weren't getting anymore narcotics so we can forget it. Like we're drug addicts or something. Way to treat your patients Doc. I had to ask him three times if this pain was normal before he finally answered my question with a confrontational attitude (no it wasn't normal). Then he told us to just take IB-profen and stormed out the room like we had already taken up too much of his precious time.
I've never seen such a rude practioner, in any field. He scores 0 pretty much across the board, I wish we would've went with ANYBODY else.
