I drove a BMW for 16 years and had a shop I loved. My car never broke down. When I switched to driving a Volvo, I was bummed, because my Volvo was repeatedly breaking down. Eventually, I had a problem that resulted in my being towed numerous times, and several different shops--even the Volvo dealership-- could not figure this problem out, even though I spent a lot of money on their unsuccessful attempts to resolve it.
I was so frustrated! Fortunately, that was when I found Mike and Tracy, at Hans Auto Repair. They figured out the problem on the first visit, fixed it, and I never had to go back for that issue again. In fact, I never had to be towed again! Even after 10 years, my Volvo has never broken down since coming to Mike and Tracy, even though this is a 1987 with over 250,000 miles on the original engine.
They've completely earned my trust, and of course, I have continued to use only their shop for these 10 years. Why wouldn't I? They keep my car running beautifully, they're so clearly experts. And they're honest, fair, and reasonably priced too!
I don't know anything about cars, and in the past, I'd sometimes feel foolish or intimidated at car shops. Not here! Tracy and Mike are very respectful and kind, and Tracy is phenomenal about helping you feel confident regarding your car's maintenance schedule. She has never made me try to buy things that are not essential, and yet makes me aware anytime something is important for keeping my car safe and reliable. She reviewed my maintenance records and taught me what was essential to maintain my car. I don't have to worry about it at all anymore.
I also never have trouble getting scheduled at Hans. They're a popular shop, and still manage to set maintenance appointments within a very reasonable time frame. If I'm going out of town and want to be sure to have my regular maintenance done on my old car before taking that drive, they do it. Anytime that I call for a maintenance appointment or have a question or doubt about my old car, they are very quick to respond. They are great about followup.
I care about the environment, so I was even happier about my shop when Hans Auto Repair became the first Monterey Bay Certified Green Business in Seaside! I love that, and it makes me feel good that if I can't drive a greener car yet, at least my car's shop is green.
Tracy and Mike are truly a pleasure to do business with. They are polite, professional, trustworthy, dependable, caring, and fun. I could not recommend them more highly.
