Review content:
I had been having problems finding a decent mechanic, one who wouldn't take me for a ride so to speak, and a fellow I go to church with, who is a friend of Dave's, recommended him to me.
I went out to Dave's Auto Service and had a conversation with him. I was impressed with him, and I told him right out that this mutual friend had promised me that Dave wouldn't cheat me. Dave laughed when I said that. I have been with him for 8 to 10 years, and I have been very, very happy with his work.
I have an older car, and by now we have probably practically rebuilt the thing. I think he has redone about everything. The only time, and I can only think of one time, that a repair didn't work out was when Dave tried using a rebuilt part for the job. The part failed, and he replaced it with a new part at his own expense. I have recommended him to several people, many of whom have gone and are now customers, and I think he's a great mechanic.
