Businiess name:  The New Phoenix/Twin Dragon Restaurant
Review by:  Marie B.
Review content:
We came here to use a half-price offer in the Entertainment Book, and since it was a casino, we didn't expect much. But the Chinese food was surprisingly good, especially for a small town like LaCenter. The casino atmosphere out front is kind of a bummer, especially the smell of cigarette smoke. But if you're seated in the back of the restaurant, it's not quite as noticeable. We tried one dish from the menu (lemon chicken) and one of the specials (stir-fried pea shoots); the menu dish was good, and the special was very good. I was impressed with the quality; it was definitely better than expected. While it's not the kind of place I'd put on my regular list (largely because of the casino environment), it's nice to know there's a good restaurant close by.
